For this role , she was nominated twice for the Golden Globe Award and twice for the Primetime Emmy Award as Outstanding Lead Actress In the field of Comedy Series. Her performance on Ulee's Gold (1997) earned her an Independent Spirit Award nomination.    Early life  Richardson was educated at various schools which included Holton-Arms School as well as Hockaday School.
